New canned game meat pet food selection pack

A canned selection pack has been added to a game meat range from Natures Menu based in Norfolk in the UK.

The Country Hunter Game Meat Selection packs contain 12 x 400g cans that feature the newly refreshed County Hunter branding.

The range, which includes Duck, Pheasant & Goose, Wild Venison and Wild Boar, is exclusive to the specialist pet trade and retails at £27.49 (US$ 34.45), with a discounted introductory price of £24.99 ($31.32). It is made with 80 per cent meat, blended with fruit, vegetables and other ingredients, while being free from all grain and gluten.

Natures Menu started as a small family business in 1981 and now offers a range of raw and natural pet foods for cats and dogs using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The company focuses on nutrition and even has its own in-house vet team. 

“The market trend is showing growth in multipacks – as well as being our bestsellers across other categories,” said Peter Roy, Nature Menu’s business development director.

“We’re excited to be able to offer the Country Hunter Game Selection exclusively to our specialist trade partners. They’re a great opportunity for retailers to encourage consumers to trade up to a bulk pack size, as well as offering them variety for their pet.”

The company would not disclose details about the production and manufacture of its canned pet food.
